Director/writer

Born - 21 March 1925, Chiswick, London, England
Died - 2 July 2022

Narrow-eyed, serious-looking and later balding British stage director/writer with distinctive low eyebrows. That was his last film, although he directed several episodes of the TV mini-series The Mahabharata in 1990 and continued his theatre work into his nineties. He was married to stage and screen actress Natasha Parry, who died in 2015. The actress Irina Brook is one of their two children. He died at his home in France.
