Haji

Actress

Born - 24 January 1946, Quebec City, Quebec, Canada
Died - 10 August 2013

One of the pneumatic stars of Russ Meyer's early sexploitation movies of the late 1960s and early 1970s. Sometimes billed as Haji Cat, reflecting her real name (Barbarella Catton), she sashayed her prodigious curves through a series of luridly-titled romps: Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! (1965), Motor Psycho (1965), Confessions of a Sexy Supervixen (1967), Bigfoot (1969), Beyond the Valley of the Dolls (1970), Up Your Alley (1971), Supervixens (1975), The Killing of a Chinese Bookie (1976), When Sex Was a Knightly Affair (1977), Hughes and Harlow: Angels in Hell (1978) and Demonoid: Messenger of Death (1981). Much later she appeared in Killer Drag Queens on Dope (2003), her last, and became a trenchant spokesperson for animal rights.
