Three backpackers on a ski break, two guys and a girl, take the last chair up to the top for one final ski down the slopes. The car operator calls out 'Three more to come down', but his replacement sees three skiers come down the mountainside and shuts down the system.

Our friends are suspended in mid-air in the bitter cold with night coming on. Furthermore, it seems that the resort will be closed for the next five days; didn't quite understand that bit.

Night passes and day comes. The trio does silly things like losing a glove or throwing goggles and skis at a snow plough that doesn't see them. One of the guys jumps from the car, breaks both legs and is eaten by wolves. The other guy makes it down safely, tries to snowboard down the hillside...and is eaten by wolves.

Can the girl survive? If only she can (watch those wolves!), she could obviously sue the resort from here to breakfasttime. Just think of the settlement. Director Green tries hard to turn this grisly anecdote into a 90-minute feature, but it just isn't possible. It remains a 30-minute featurette in disguise. The acting is good, Bell especially, but you may find yourself numb some time before frostbite sets in for our hapless heroes.
