Child actress/dancer

Born - 25 June 1920, Los Angeles, California, USA
Died - 16 February 2018

Dark-haired child player of serious mien, later a dancer. The last surviving member of the 'Our Gang' and 'Little Rascals' comedies, she was on screen as a babe in arms in Call of the Wild (1923). Apart from many short comedy romps, later credits include The Fortieth Door (1924), The Lost Express (1925), The Dark Angel (1925), Surrender (1926), Uncle Tom's Cabin (1927) and Little Mickey Grogan (1927), before sound halted her career. Later, she toured nightclubs in a dance act with her sister, and danced in a few Donald O'Connor musical comedies of the early 1940s: Mister Big (1943), Top Man (1943) and Patrick the Great (1945). Other 1940s' credits include City of Missing Girls (1941) and Gaslight/The Murder in Thornton Square (1944). She continued acting on TV, her last credit being an episode of the crime series Petrocelli in 1975. A stalwart campaigner for film preservation in her later years, she died from influenza complications.
