Peppy, sharply attractive blonde actress and singer who specialised in dizzy or fast-talking sub-Yolande Donlan types. Born Isabella Diana Decker, she came to Britain at four and all her appearances were in British films: San Demetrio London (1943), Fiddlers Three (1944), Meet Me at Dawn (1946), The Root of All Evil (1947), When You Come Home (1947), Murder at the Windmill (1948), A Man's Affair (1949), It Started in Paradise (1952), Will Any Gentleman?... (1953), Knave of Hearts (1954), A Yank in Ermine (1955), The Betrayal (1957), Lolita (1962) and Devils of Darkness (1964), her last. Also popular on radio comedy series, she died a few days before her 94th birthday.
