Lean, sallow Sardinian actor with wild black hair and penetrating eyes, the villain in many a thriller or spaghetti western, under a greater variety of names than perhaps any other actor, among them Aldo Lastretti and Guy Ranson. After theatre experience, he launched a film career at 30: Joe - Find a Place to Die (1968), Bonnot's Gang (1968), Venus in Furs (1969), Confessions of a Police Commissioner (1971), A Reason to Live - A Reason to Die (1972), Deaf Smith and Johnny Ears (1973), Shaft in Africa (1973), Massacre in Rome (1974), Mean Frank and Crazy Tony (1974), Cagliostro (1975), Flic Story (1975), Special Cop in Action (1976), A Man Called Magnum (1977), Lion of the Desert (1980), then a return to TV work, followed, much later, by Padre Pio (2000), his last. He died from a heart attack.
