Dark-haired, dark-eyed, curvaceous American performer, a child actress (TV from 1951) who became first a producer, then head of MGM/UA Television. Born Lynn Zimring, she appeared in many TV movies and series as an actress, plus a few films, including Splendor in tne Grass (1961), Pressure Point (1962), Journey to the Far Side of the Sun (1969), Black Noon (1971) and Kansas City Massacre (1975), her last. Divorced from first husband, actor Roy Thinnes, after 17 years, her second husband pre-deceased her. She died following surgical complications.
