Robert Lussier

A prominent Hollywood character actor who entered a monastery in 1986 and became a priest in 1992. The dark-haired, bony-featured Lussier served four years in the US Navy, then studied theology and music before embarking on an acting career with the Prince Street Players. He entered films in 1968 with The Legend of Lylah Clare. Subsequent movie work included Sandcastles (1972), Welcome to Arrow Beach (1974), I Wonder Who's Killing Her Now (1975), Silent Movie (1976), Mother, Jugs & Speed (1976), Fun With Dick and Jane (1977), High Anxiety (1977), The Magic of Lassie (1978), Salem's Lot (1979), Charlie and the Great Balloon Chase (1981) and Mr Mom (1983). Some time after entering the priesthood, he made a cameo appearance in the 2001 movie Heist.
