Rhodes Reason

Actor

Born - 19 April 1930, Glendale, California, USA
Died - 26 December 2014

Husky, dark-haired, lookalike younger brother of actor Rex Reason (who survives him). Usually seen as the virile hero of 'B' features or TV series, the actor (and sometime singer) made his stage debut at 18, and his first TV appearance at 20. Film roles were minor compared with those of his brother, but included Lady Godiva of Coventry (1955), Crime Against Joe (1956), The Desperados Are in Town (1956), Voodoo Island (1957), The Big Fisherman (1959), Yellowstone Kelly (1959), A Fever in the Blood (1961), King Kong Escapes (1967), The Delta Factor (1970) and Cat Murkil and the Silks (1976), his last. In between, he had his biggest success as the hero of the TV series White Hunter. In the 1980s, he was seen on Broadway, playing Daddy Warbucks in a production of Annie. He died from lymphoma cancer.
