Carol Adams

Actress/dancer

Born - 15 March 1918, Los Angeles, California, USA
Died - 9 April 2012

Pretty brunette dancer, slim but shapely, who also starred in a couple of 'B' westerns with Gene Autry and Roy Rogers in the early 1940s. Born Lurline Uller (small wonder she changed it), she went to 20th Century-Fox in the late 1930s and, following several films as a background dancer - including The Life of the Party (1937) - played minor acting roles in several Alice Faye films, including In Old Chicago (1938), Sally, Irene and Mary (1938) and Rose of Washington Square (1939), before getting better parts in Dancing on a Dime (1940), Sis Hopkins (1941) and The Gay Vagabond (1941). She was a demure prairie flower in Ridin' on a Rainbow and Bad Man of Deadwood (both 1941), but regressed to a smaller role in The Boss Said No (1942) and was back to dancing in Ever Since Venus (1944), her last. She died from chronic obstructive lung disease.
