Light-haired Hollywood boy actor of the early 1950s, best recalled now as the horse-loving teenager of the TV series Fury, which ran through five seasons and more than 100 episodes and saw him co-starring with Peter Graves and a stallion named Highland Dale, who played Fury. After catching the eye at eight in a tap-dancing act with his brother, he was around in films in small roles from Young Man With Ideas (1951). Other credits included The Greatest Show on Earth (1952), Ride, Vaquero! (1952), The Lady wants Mink (1953), Half a Hero (1953), Three Ring Circus (1954), The Americano (1954), Untamed (1955), To Hell and Back (1955), Its a Dog's Life (1956), This Could Be the Night (1957), The Courtship of Eddie's Father (1959), Airborne (1962), Billie (1965) and the TV movie The Silent Gun (1969). Mixing careers as an actor and attorney after this, he could briefly be glimpsed in Scream (1981), his last film. The brother who had joined him in their tap-dance act as kids also became a lawyer.
