Lovable, mop-haired Hollywood child actor and the last surviving cast member of the 1939 classic Gone With the Wind (he played Leslie Howard's son). Born Theodore Michael Kuhn, he was on screen as a toddler in Change of Heart (1934), before beginning his career as a boy actor in A Doctor's Diary (1937). Other childhood credits include King of the Underworld (1938), Juarez (1939), Bad Little Angel (1939), I Want a Divorce (1940), Slightly Tempted (1940), One Foot in Heaven (1941), Beneath Western Skies (1944), A Tree Grows in Brooklyn (1945), Roughly Speaking (1945), Dick Tracy (1945), The Strange Love of Martha Ivers (1946) and The Return of Rusty (1946). Moving towards young adult roles, he was seen in Magic Town (1947), High Conquest (1947), Red River (1948), Scene of the Crime (1949), Broken Arrow (1950), A Streetcar Named Desire (1951), On the Loose (1951), That's My Boy (1951), Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953), The Last Frontier (1955) and Away All Boats (1956), his last. He moved away from show business and spent the last 30 years of his working life with American Airlines. He married five times, his fifth wife (of 38 years) Barbara surviving him.
