Chirpy brunette who danced (and skated) her way into a few 1940s' films and later became the first actress to play Snow White in Disneyland in 1955. She left home at 15 to join a skating troupe, later becoming the skating and dancing partner of Gene Nelson. After a film debut as a 'jitterbug skater' in Silver Skates (1943), she was seen in Something for the Boys (1944), Nob Hill (1945), State Fair (1945), Rainbow Over Texas (1946), Suspense (1946), Lullaby of Broadway (1951), Red Garters (1954) and Sabrina (1954), her last.
