George 'Foghorn' Winslow

Born - 3 May 1946, Los Angeles, California
Died - 14 June 2015

Stocky, diminutive, bag-eyed child actor with pudding basin haircut, poker face and frog-in-throat voice who used TV exposure to parlay his unique talents into a short series of film roles before leaving the business at 12, later pursuing interests in photography. After an eye-(and ear-)catching debut in Room for One More (1951), the little guy, born George Wentzlaff, made Monkey Business (1952), My Pal Gus (1952), Mister Scoutmaster (1953), Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953), The Rocket Man (1954), Artists and Models (1955), Rock, Pretty Baby (1956), Summer Love (1957) and Wild Heritage (1958), his last. He died from a heart attack.
